Alexandre Hyacinthe Dunouy
1757 – 1841
French painter. Relatively little is known about the early career of Dunouy, as we cannot be sure in whose studio he learnt his art. In 1781 he exhibited a landscape, otherwise unidentified, at the Exposition de la Jeunesse, and it is evident he found the means to travel to Italy early, as in 1787 he showed a View of San Cosinata at the Salon de l'Élysée.
