Baldassare de Caro
1689 – 1750
Italian painter, active in Naples. He specialized in still-lifes, mainly dead games, but painted also flower pieces. He was a pupil of Andrea Belvedere, an active figure of the Neapolitan school of still-life painting represented by Paolo Porpora and Giovanni Battista Ruoppolo.
