Daniel II Mijtens

1644 – 1688

Dutch painter, part of a family of artists. He was a pupil of Daniel Mijtens I and he is known for mythological subjects and interior decorations. According to Houbraken he travelled to Italy where he joined the Bentvueghels with the nickname "Bontekraay".
