Domenico Da Tolmezzo

Domenico da Tolmezzo (also referred to as Domenico Mioni, or Dominico di Candido), Italian painter and sculptor (wood carver). He is considered as the leader of the Tolmezzo School, a large group of artists from Friuli active in the second half of the fifteenth century. They combined the Renaissance innovations in Veneto with the influences of Venetian Gothic.
