Edouard Dubufe
1820 – 1883
French painter, part of a family of artists, son of Claude-Marie Dubufe. He was trained by his father and then by Paul Delaroche. He first appeared at the Salon in 1839 with the Annunciation, a Huntress and a portrait, winning a third class medal.
