Francesco Bassano

Francesco Bassano the Younger (originally Francesco Giambattista da Ponte), Italian painter, eldest son, pupil and employee of Jacopo Bassano. His first independent work is from 1574. He ran the Venetian branch of the workshop until committing suicide a few months after his father's death.
