Italian painter and etcher, who served a brief initial apprenticeship with Giacomo Cavedone before entering the school of Guido Reni, whose most devoted pupil and assistant he became. His work closely follows the late works of Reni; through whom he received much prestige. His paintings can be found in the local churches: the Presentation at the Temple in the Oratorio dei Preti, the Virgin in the Church of San Giorgio, the Crucifixion in the church of San Benedetto, the Last Supper in the Church of San Girolamo della Certosa.Show more
