Giovanni Francesco Guerrieri

Giovanni Francesco Guerrieri (Guerreri or Guerini), Italian painter working in the style of Caravaggio and Guercino. Apparently self-taught, he made copies after Federico Barocci. In 1606 he went to Rome and came under the influence of Caravaggio and his followers, above all of Orazio Gentileschi.
