Gustave Léonard de Jonghe
1829 – 1893
Belgian painter. In 1855, he left Belgium for Paris, where he exhibited at the Salon of French Artists during the next thirty years. He started his career painting historical and sacred subject matter, but later specialized in portraits, historical genre and family scenes.
