Hendrick van Someren

Hendrick van Someren (or Somer), Dutch painter, active in Italy. He was the son of the painter Barend van Someren (1572-1635) and the grandson of Aert Mijtens (1556-1601), the eldest known member of the Mijtens family of painters. He was the pupil of his father and of Jusepe de Ribera.
