Herman van Lin
1623 – 1681
Dutch painter. He was mainly active in Utrecht, where he was first recorded in 1659 when he served on the committee of the local guild; he did so repeatedly, serving as dean in 1668, 1669 and 1670. His main subjects were battle scenes and landscapes.
