Isaac de Moucheron
1667 – 1744
Dutch painter, draughtsman, etcher and architect, He was one of eleven children of the landscape painter Frederick de Moucheron and Maria Magdalena de Jouderville, the daughter of the Rembrandt pupil Isaac de Jouderville, for whom he was named. He was apprenticed to his father, before going to Italy, where he arrived c. 1695 and stayed for at least two years.
