Jacopo Del Casentino

Jacopo del Casentino (Jacopo Landini), Italian painter, one of the most important painters of the early 1300s in Florence. Probably trained with some contact with the workshop of Giotto, and especially of Taddeo Gaddi, Jacopo also looked at the Lorenzetti, from whom the more Gothic elements of his style derive. He was active first at Arezzo, later he run a large workshop in Florence.
