James Forrester
1730 – 1776
Irish painter. He was a pupil of Robert West (died 1770) in the school in George's Lane, Dublin in 1747, and received premiums from the Dublin Society in that year and in 1750. In 1752 he won the first prize for drawing in the annual competition in the school.
