Jan van Reyn
1610 – 1678
Jan van Reyn (or Rijn), Flemish painter, worked in the port of Dunkirk, then still part of south-western Flanders. The young De Reyn went to Antwerp where he became a student of Van Dyck. He accompanied his master to England where he continued to assist him.
