Jean II Cotelle
1642 – 1708
French painter, draughtsman, miniature painter and engraver. He studied drawing with his father Jean Cotelle I (1607-76), an ornamental painter at the court of Louis XIII. He went on to learn miniature painting with Elisabeth Sophie Chéron and portraiture with Claude Lefèbvre.
