Jean-Eugène Buland

1852 – 1926

French painter. He studied with Alexandre Cabanel in the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. He began with Symbolist paintings of antique scenes, but quickly he turned towards representation of scenes of everyday life.
