Jean-Jacques Lagrenée
1739 – 1821
French painter, known as Jean-Jacques Lagrenée the Younger. He was a history painter and engraver, the pupil of his elder brother Louis-Jean-François Lagrenée. With his brother he stayed in Russia (1760-62), then at the Académie de Rome (1763-68).
