Johannes Tielius

Johannes Tielius (Jan Tilius), Dutch painter. He was on of the last of the 'fine' painters to emulate Gerrit Dou 's delicate, porcelain-like brushwork. He was born in s-Hertogenbosch and worked in the 1690s in The Hague.
