Belgian painter, brother of Eugène-Joseph Verboeckhoven. He studied in Brussels under his father, Barthélemy, and his brother. He concentrated on marine painting, generally scenes from the North Sea, as in Dutch Coast (1840; Musée des Beaux-Arts, Liège).Show more
