Master Of Hohenfurth

Master of Hohenfurth (or of Vyssi Brod), Bohemian painter, so called after his main work, a large altarpiece with scenes from the life of Christ (National Gallery, Prague, c. 1350) painted for the monastery of Vyssi Brod (Hohenfurth). These panels show the beginnings of the Bohemian variant of International Gothic.
