Pietro Bellotti

1623 – 1700

Italian painter, who painted mainly portraits and character heads. He worked for Cardinal Mazarin, Cardinal Pietro Ottoboni (later Pope Alexander VIII). He was in the service of the Gonzaga in Mantua as superintendent of the galleries.
