Vicente Castelló

Spanish painter, son of Salvador Castelló, an Aragonian painter who settled in Valencia in 1685. He began working at an early age with Francisco Ribalta, one of whose daughters he married in 1610. In 1616 he appears in the register of the Colegio de Pintores in Valencia, and, probably in 1618, he settled in the Segorbe district together with Juan Ribalta and Abdón Castaneda (c.
