Here, the figure painter Erasmus Quellinus II painted an elaborate cartouche while the still-life specialist Jan Philip van Thielen supplied the vivid flowers. Jan Philip van Thielen was a pupil of Daniel Seghers, the composition of this painting follows the example of his master.
